The wins and the wipeouts. The birthdays, breakups, and just-because days. We’re here for all of it, bringing warmth, wonder, and just the right amount of weird with every scoop. We make everything from scratch, keep it peanut and nut-free, and always include lots of vegan options. Because good food brings people together, and building community is at the heart of what we do. MEET MATT WILLARD,
The “Willard” in Willard’s Ice Cream!
Matt started Willard’s in 2015 with a single ice cream machine and a whole lot of heart. What began with an appreciation for quality ingredients and community connection has grown into two neighbourhood shops, with the flagship Main Street location opening in 2018.
Over 200 flavours later, Matt and his incredible team continue to keep the scoops coming and the good vibes going.
From perfecting the classics to dreaming up wild creations like Roasted Garlic or Parmesan, Matt hopes to spark curiosity and creativity in others — in whatever form that may take. For him, Willard’s is more than just a business. It’s a way to make a difference in the city he loves, one scoop and smile at a time.

We’ve created over 200 flavours (and counting!). From timeless classics like vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate to playful scoops like Popcorn and Sour Watermelon Candy. Our daily menu rotates, so there’s always something new to try. But don’t worry, fan favourites make frequent comebacks. Each day, we scoop a 50/50 mix of dairy and vegan/lactose-free flavours. Something for everyone, every time.

Our cakes are made to order — whether it’s for a special occasion or just because you’re craving one. We ask for at least one week’s notice so we can fit it into our production schedule, but feel free to reach out if you’re on a tighter timeline. If we can make it happen, we absolutely will!
